Remembering Victims of Holocaust: A Memorial for One or All?

29 Sep

As part of an address to British Jewish communities, former PM, David Cameron, pledged that the UK Government would fund a memorial in remembrance of the mainly Jewish victims of World War 2.

The memorial is to be sited in Victoria Tower Gardens, next to Parliament.

Since the announcement, plans for the memorial are now expected to include a learning centre, for school groups and visitors to London.

A competition was recently announced for the design of the memorial, including plans for the learning centre.

If it does not run over budget, the whole project is expected to cost around £50 million, largely paid for by the British taxpayer.

As noted in the Mirror, ‘UK Holocaust Memorial Foundation chairman, Sir Peter Bazalgette, said: “The task of the Holocaust Memorial Foundation was to find a site that would allow a striking, prominent and iconic memorial to be built.”‘

In effect, the memorial and learning centre, will become Britain’s answer to Auschwitz and the Anne Frank Museum.

Understandably, a number of individuals, including myself have voiced concerns. Some, rightly or wrongly, now consider it an industry.

For me, as I will explain, I do not believe that there has ever been only one holocaust, but that there have been many holocausts, of equal significance, and equal worthiness of commemorating the victims of.

Indeed, when I asked Olivia Marks-Woldman, CEO of the Holocaust Memorial Trust, ‘why can we not have a universal memorial and learning centre to remember all holocausts not just one?’

Her response was, because the ‘Holocaust’ was unique.’

(I’ve since emailed her to clarify this profound and exceptional differentiating statement, but I am yet to receive a response or acknowledgement).

Sorry, not sorry! No one event in our wretched histories that ‘qualifies’ as a holocaust/ genocide, is no less, or more unique or significant than any other similar event in history.

To imply that it (WWII) is deserving of  uniqueness, only serves to diminish the other (such catastrophic events, in our shared histories) and asserts privilege of one group of victims (of such events) and the suffering (and heinous acts committed against one group) over another.

As Jackie Walker, of the UK Labour party’s Momentum group recently noted — and was subsequently on the receiving end of a tremendous amount of unwarranted vitriol from Jewish media for stating — the term ‘Holocaust’ is not a term that is the preserve or monopoly of Jews alone (paraphrased).

Indeed. Jews were not the only victims of World War 2.

In case you do not know/ have forgotten, many members of Roma, Polish, Muslims, LGBT, and other communities were victims too.

Clearly, a £50 million memorial, solely for the remembrance of Jewish victims of World War 2, simply reinforces ideas of (Jewish) privilege and victimhood, thus reinforcing negative stereotypes and prejudicial resentment of Jews.

Here is a list of Holocausts in recent times:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Genocides_in_history

The term ‘Holocaust’ does not, nor has it ever done, belonged solely to members of the Jewish community.

The term ‘holocaust’  was only adopted as such, in the 1950’s, after World War 2.

(The term ‘Holocaust’, in its original meaning, refers to sacred burning or sacrifice.)

It was first used in terms of genocide by John Milton in the 17th century.

If we are to remember ALL our dead, at the hands of bastards, murderers, and maniacal dictators, and learn from such past atrocities, committed by and against humankind, what we should have, is one memorial, and one learning centre, to remember all victims of all holocaust and genocidal acts.

It is my view, that we should (all) universally unite in our mourning, condemnation, and determination to say: Never Again!

A very recent study I have conducted confirms that such a memorial should not be attributed to Jews alone.

Why?

Because it devalues and assigns all other victims of holocaust to second status.

Jeremy Corbyn: Vilified by UK Jewish Media?

10 Sep

corbyn.jpeg

According to Jeremy Corbyn’s Wiki biography, he has, in the past: ‘mobilise[d] opposition to the Afghanistan War…. [and] was fiercely opposed to the Iraq War in 2003.’

He is a member of the Palestine Solidarity Campaign, and Stop the War Coalition, and campaigned against conflict in Gaza.

Corbyn, has been strongly criticised for some of the humanitarian and political causes he has supported, including; having met with IRA members, prior to the Northern Ireland Peace Accord (known as the Good Friday Agreement), which was signed on 10 April 1998.

Now, he has come to prominence as likely to be that next leader of the Labour Party, perhaps his skeletons have come of the closet? Particularly, his associations with pro-Palestine groups, criticism of Israel, and those, many Jews and the Israeli government deem their enemies.

Former Prime Minister, Tony Blair, who won three successive General Elections from 1997–2005, stated: “We discovered winning successively. And now we have re-discovered losing successively…You don’t win from a traditional leftist position.”

In the past few days, after being attacked and railed by so-called ‘Blair-ites’, his views on the subject of Israeli/ Palestinian relations, appear to have culminated in an all out attack in much (if not all) of the Jewish press in the UK, Israel and elsewhere. Jewish lobby organisations have also joined in the attack to vilify Corbyn.

In the JC on the 13 August 2014, Daniel Finkelstein wrote: ‘the election of Jeremy Corbyn as leader [of the Labour Party] would not be a problem for the Labour Party. It would be a debacle. A catastrophe. A calamity. A disaster.’

Finkelstein added: ‘He [Corbyn] shares the virulent anti-Zionism of the hard left. One that seeks to make Israel a pariah state. One that treats Israel as if it were the central cause of all foreign affairs problems. One that treats with Hamas and is friendly to Hizbollah (sic).’

The JC also claimed he would be an ‘enemy’ of the Jewish community, if he didn’t answer their questions ‘immediately’ and support Israel’s expansionism, which would likely be to the detriment of Palestine and Palestinians.

Its editor, Stephen Pollard, reiterated the key points (and threat) made in the article, by denouncing one challenger of the demands made in the article, for posting what Pollard considered “an idiotic tweet.”

On the Jewish Chronicle view of Corbyn, as early as 2012, Ben White wrote of ‘How the Jewish Chronicle is trying to smear Jeremy Corbyn MP.’ Similarly, as published via Order — Order, in mid-July 2015, Media Guido posted that he: ‘understands that Corbyn’s people approached the Jewish Chronicle offering them a clear-the-air interview, realising he was not exactly JC readers’ number one choice given his ‘friendship‘ with Hamas and his support for the anti-Semitic Islamist Raed Salah.’ Corbyn subsequently withdrew when told the interview would be conducted by the Neo-Con, Oliver Kamm.

On Hezbollah and Hamas, in a Q & A for the New Statesman, Corbyn said: “Look, you don’t make peace unless you talk to everybody . . . There has to be a conversation. Over Hezbollah and Hamas, yes, I’ve met [the Hamas leader] Khaled Meshal. I’ve met people from all these groups, actually, with a number of other people; Tony Blair has [too].”

One can understand, perfectly well, why Corbyn withdrew from an interview with the JC, especially as it would appear, so abundantly clear, that Kamm is vehemently opposed to Corbyn’s political beliefs and style of politics, and would not have given him a fair and impartial opportunity, or right to reply, to criticism laid against him.

Some 200 hundred tweets by Kamm, about Corbyn, in less than a year, is pretty of obsessive, would you not think?

The JC has published no less than 100 articles on Corbyn; all of which appear to portray him negatively.

The Jewish Post recently published an article calling Corbyn ‘the far-left candidate.’ For a far Lefty, Corbyn recently said on the monarchy: “Listen, I am at heart, as you very well know, a republican.” It [JP] also posted, that he is defender of a so-called 9/11 anti-Israel conspiracy theorist, Rev. Stephen Sizer.

Although acknowledging his ‘clear vision’, the JP wrote that Corbyn was a ‘fully-paid up member of the Ken Livingstone generation.’ They also criticised his support of a Palestinian state, appearing to ask its readers to ask him if he felt the same of Israel.

Even in the Times of Israel, no fewer than 30 articles have been written about Corbyn.

The headline of its article, published on the 13 August 2015, was, ‘UK Labour front-runner scrutinized for ties to anti-Semites, extremists.’ The Times [of Israel] added, that he [Corbyn] supported the likes of Deir Yassin Remembered, and had made donations to the group. ToI could not substantiate this with any proof other than hearsay by Paul Eisen.

Corbyn’s campaign denied this claim, saying “Paul Eisen clearly holds some of the most extreme views that are entirely his, and Jeremy totally opposes them and disassociates himself from them.”

Prominent Jewish organisations such as the Board of Deputies, the Far Right-linked European Jewish Parliament, and European Jewish Congress have all accused Corbyn of being anti-Jewish, and is a supporter of Hamas.

UK’s young writer, Rabbil Sikdar, says Jeremy Corbyn could be the leader British Muslims (2.8 million) have been waiting for, which is an anathema to many Jews, so many of whom, are themselves, vehemently anti-Muslim and anti-Palestine.

James Forsyth, writing in The Spectator, said that, Corbyn is ‘unelectable’ now appears, almost certainly, to have been a gravely premature misjudgement, on his part.

Whether Corbyn is the right person to aid Labour’s recovery, from the orchestrated and devastating hatchet-job carried out by David Cameron, and the Conservative government, pre-election 2015, only time will tell.

Your thoughts?

End Notes:

1. For the purpose of clarity, the only reason the word ‘Jewish’ has been used in the headline of this article, is due to the fact that two of the newspapers attacking Jeremy Corbyn have the word in the title of their publications. To be clear, conflation of the word Jews/ Jewish with Zionism serves Zionism. The smear campaign detailed in this article was orchestrated by Zionists, not Jews.

2. Following publication, it was brought to my attention that Oliver Kamm and Stephen Pollard have known each other very well since at least 2006. It follows, that any article written by Kamm and published by the JC (about Corbyn) would have been malicious in its intent.

Introduction:

This is an article about the online abuse I have suffered and smear campaigns to silence me, because of my view and campaigning on Human Rights.

It is a truly disgusting picture of the depravity of human nature and efforts, tactics, and extremes that state actors and their supporters will  deploy to smear, and damage critics and activists.

About Me:

I am a researcher, human rights campaigner, occasional blogger/ writer, very outspoken, and former senior arts manager.

I run my own (this) blog and use to write for News786, before the news site ran into trouble with Modi. I’ve also published one or two articles on the Medium site.

My current area of research is focussed on the UK Counter Extremism Strategy and its impact on British Muslim communities. I am also conducting research on the themes of migration, refugees, and LGBTI Human Rights abuses.

My Human Rights work includes: campaigning against the closure of the Calais ‘Jungle’ refugee camp, the Human Zoo protest, Rohingya, #BlackLivesMatter, the French governments attempt to ban the burka, and previously a two year campaign on Ebola.

I publish several small newsletters and e-bulletins on various Human Rights and civil society issues.

I also run several networks, including the largest Facebook group for artists and craft-makers, enabling collaborations between artists, sharing work and expertise, posting opportunities for exhibiting, making, fellowships, employment etc.

I am very active on Twitter and tweet about the current crisis in Yemen, #BlackLivesMatter, LGBTI Human Rights news, refugees, and generally about politics, culture, and current affairs.

Previous Online Abuse:

Some of my posts on Twitter have brought considerable abuse, both on and offline.

In the extreme, I’ve had death threats, late night telephone calls, pizza deliveries, call outs by the fire service. The more inane abuse includes insults about my sexual orientation, racism, and crude references about the fact I am HIV. They have also targeted my partner and his work, incurring business costs, due to a suspected cyber attack.

I’ve also had individuals publish my personal information and steal photos of my family and I from my Facebook account and reposted on Twitter with obscenities.

Quite understandably, I have sometimes been outraged and felt moments of disgust and almost violent anger.

If someone abuses, uses my copyright, insults me, I will generally retort. I usually tell them to fuck off, go suicide, tell them I will ruin them, call them a cunt, or whatever.

Here’s a take on my philosophy regarding online abuse:

twitter-header

As you can see, and I am sure you will understand, because of the abuse I’ve received, I generally will not take any drama or shit from anyone. Anyone who abuses me will get short shrift and told exactly where to shove it.

Abuse I have received from women is no different. If a woman, on social media, messages me or replies to something I have posted, with which she disagrees, with any abuse, profanity, threats, or bile, I will retort. That is quid pro quo and is the essence of gender equality, imho. No special favours, except where inequality or misogyny is present or exists.

Recent Abuse:

Just recently, one such woman, by the name of Jasna Badzak, despite having a police warning against her, and having been served with a cease and desist notice, not to abuse or harass me, decided to have another go at me. Yes, she has done this before, hence the police warning and cease and desist notice.

I didn’t respond to her directly, as such. What I did, was to collate the URLs of her tweets about me and publish them on Storify.

Storify is simply a website that has the function of enabling a user to collect posts, articles, and comments on social media, to create a story.

You can see them here:

  1. https://storify.com/debatingculture/mancial-rantings-of-convicted-fraudster-jasna-badz
  2. https://storify.com/debatingculture/final-warning-andreaurbanfox-and-jasnabadzak

(Important: For context and clarity, please do ensure that you read through the above links — you can right click to open them in a new window).

In the first link (above), it is perfectly clear that Jasna is a convicted fraudster. Equally as important, the content shows that she is vindictive to the point of being mentally disturbed.

The second link, shows the abuse and vitriol directed at me, after I was informed that she was sullying my name and spreading malicious and false gossip about me.

I didn’t respond directly (well, only to her most ludicrous claims), but I did document and record her abuse and vitriol, hence the publication of the Storify.

Hacking My Social Media:

Within 24 hours of the publication of the Storify in the second link (above), Jasna, and/ or an associate, made 6 attempts to hack my twitter account. The evidence of which, is here:

Screen Shot 2016-09-08 at 14.06.33.png

The first attempted password hack, occurred on Sunday, 04 September, 2016.

On the Monday morning, I immediately contacted the police and Twitter and posted information to my followers to inform them of what was happening to me.

By Tuesday, 06 September, 2016, a blog was published about myself and others, regarding our views on Israel and its oppression of Palestinians and occupation of the West Bank and Gaza.

The blog was published by Marko Attila Hoare.

Marko is a Historian, lecturing at Kingston University, UK, so you would expect someone of his professional and academic standing to be less abusive, but, apparently not. Marko is a known internet troll. (Three separate links, detailing his bullying, character assassination, and intimidation of others).

Within 24 hours of the publication Marko’s blog, there were a further 29 attempts to hack my password to my Twitter account. I have no idea if Marko himself was involved, but his blog was a direct causal link to these further hack attempts.

It’s worth noting here, that Jasna and Marko are associates and know each other in public circles and they are ‘twiends’ on the Twattersphere.

How timely that Jasna abuses me online, then there are several attempts to hack my twitter when I retort, then Marko writes a defamatory blog about me, resulting in a further 29 hack attempts?

I have no idea why Marko wrote his blog about myself and others. I haven’t communicated with him since January, 2016, so it is more than a coincidence, that he pops up from nowhere, with a blog, in which I am mentioned, two days after Jasna’s abuse, and the resulting 35 hack attempts to gain access to my Twitter account.

Interestingly, Jasna has now resorted to sending herself repeated login requests to her own Twitter account, claiming that I am trying to hack her.

Israel Silencing Its Critics and JewHate:

As one of my followers said: There is no such thing as coincidence.

Indeed. All of this was an orchestrated attack on my good name, my protection from harassment, freedom of speech, security, privacy, and right to expression.

In his blog, Marko first accuses me of being antiSemitic.

First of all, I object to the use of the term of ‘antiSemitism/ ic’. Why? Because Palestinians are also Semites.

This is not tautology; this is irrefutable genetic fact.

The term ‘antiSemitic/ ism’ has been appropriated and misused by many Jews and Zionists, alike, to refer to Jews only, thus giving Jews special status and victimhood, for the heinous crimes of the monster that was Adolf Hitler.

I do not hate Jews nor am I guilty of JewHate either; I am part Jewish on my GrandFather’s side.

Here’s former Israeli Minister, Shulamit Aloni’s view on ‘antiSemitism’:
Human Rights View:

As stated earlier, I am a Human Rights campaigner.

Many of my efforts, articles, posts, and tweets, on social media, are about Israeli war crimes, Human Rights abuse, illegal settlements, and occupation of Palestinian rights and lands.

That said, I also criticise Saudi, Russia, the US, Myanmar, France, Turkiye, the UK, Zimbabwe, and many other Human Rights abusers.

My critiques, campaigns etc, against Human Rights abusers, and their leaders and supporters, does not make me discriminatory or prejudiced against them, so why should Marko, or anyone else, claim that I am prejudice against Israeli citizens, for the action of its state actors or institutions?

Marko’s blog was a blatant attempt to provoke me, silence me, and/ or damage me. That is absolutely clear!

Marko also accused me of abusing him, which is an outright lie. The only thing I have ever said or done to him, is ask him to retract his false and malicious claims about me.

I ask you, in what warped universe is that considered abuse, of any sort?

He also claims that I misrepresent Palestinian rights and organisations who support and promote Palestinian rights and freedoms.

Note: I have never claimed to represent Palestinians or any organisation that either supports and promotes Palestinian rights and freedoms.

I merely speak from my heart, that Israel (Israhell!!)- and yes, Hamas – are both guilty of war crimes and should be brought to the international criminal court.

Marko’s blog about me, was a deliberate, orchestrated hatchet job against me!

I am in no doubt that members of the pro-Israeli lobby, and supporters of, put him up to this smear campaign against me.

Indeed, what demented and vindictive individual would then try to hack my Twitter account on no less than 35 occasions, and why?

Here’s a link to my initial response to Marko’s blog and hack attempts I received:

https://storify.com/debatingculture/zionists-marko-hoare-and-attempted-hacking-of-my-t

Lawfare and Silencing Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions:

Incidentally, Marko and Jasna’s lawyer, is the Zionist Jew, Mark Lewis. Mark and I have history. He has tried and failed several times to falsely report me to the police, encourage others to harass me, and made failed attempts to bring me to court for my stance against Israel’s war crimes.

Here is more on Mark Lewis:

https://storify.com/debatingculture/here-s-mlewislawyer-slandering-threatening-and-wis

https://storify.com/debatingculture/the-curious-case-of-richard-simmons-the-hasbara-tr

(Note: Zionism is not a pejorative term and do not conflate Zionism with Judaism, as not all Jews are Zionists and vice versa. To do so, only serves and validates Zionism itself).

Since January, 2016, Mark Lewis, has been subject to a complaint (by me) with the Solicitors Regulation Authority, which is why he will not engage me directly, and uses Marko and Jasna to do so instead.

Jasna makes that clear, here:

Screen Shot 2016-09-09 at 21.42.58.png

This is what is called organised lawfare, by Jews, Zionists, and pro-Israel supporters, to silence valid debate on the atrocities committed by both sides in the Israeli – Palestinian conflict.

This is not conspiracy theory, false flag, flat earth, paranoid delusion. It is real, and it is happening to me, because I have taken a stance and choose to speak out against it, despite the outcomes.

Many Zionists and pro-Israeli groups and individuals have called for the murder and ruination of those who criticise Israel’s war crimes:

http://www.middleeastrising.com/israeli-ministers-call-civil-targeted-killing-bds-activists-barghouti-mentioned-name/

https://www.rt.com/uk/358543-israel-palestine-boycott-erdan/#.V9CD_AaVlkE.twitter

My humanitarian views, should not mean I or other like-minded, concerned individuals, are deserving of such vitriol, abuse, and smears against us.

Vitriolic Abuse and Hatred:

Below are examples of how hatefilled, demented, and vindictive the likes of Zionists like Marko, Jasna, and Mark are:

Screen Shot 2016-09-07 at 22.50.13.png

This is Jasna Badzak admitting to setting up troll account to abuse and harass me.

screen-shot-2016-09-09-at-01-22-31Screen Shot 2016-09-09 at 22.01.40.png

Yes, I am HIV. Through no fault of my own, but that of someone I love, and remain with to this day.

Screen Shot 2016-09-09 at 15.29.13.png

The above is an image that shows a partial email address belonging to Jasna Badzak. In a moment of extreme anger, she admitted this by posting a tweet I have shown above.

I also possess another image, which shows a partial image of her mobile/ cell phone number. Yes, I have Jasna’s number, as she once gave it to me, before she decided to vilify me.

Zionist Plot, Conspiracy, Paranoia, or Fallacy:

zionism

So you think all this attempted hacking of my account and Marko’s malicious blog is either completely made up, or just free speech, at worst.. a case of trolling?

Well, I’ve already provided you with proof that there were attempts to hack my account, in a screenshot, above.

As explained above, I have been trolled and abused online many times; it’s why I am so profane about and to those who do so. However, no one has ever tried to hack my Twitter account, until Jasna’s abuse and Marko’s blog about me, within two days of each other.

It is also a fact, that Mark Lewis has previously provided legal representation for both Jasna and Marko, and they all know and follow each other offline. In addition, all of them regularly attack those who challenge or criticise Israel.

So what, other than this?

Cue in David Hirsh, who is a lecturer at Goldsmiths.

David has been described as an ‘ultra-Zionist’. He’s also been described as a fierce opponent of all boycotts of Israel, who actively conflate the BDS movement and anti-Zionism with anti-Semitism, by which, he actually means hatred against Jews (1).

David is also founder (2) of the blog site, on which Marko published his blog. I know this because the site is registered in David’s own name and at his home address in Reading (3).

Marko and David are also friends and colleagues and review each other’s work, write articles and letters together, on issues of Zionism and BDS, and regularly conspiring to accuse Israel’s critics of ‘antischwemitism’ by means of defaming them (4 & 5). David is also linked to the Board of Deputies and the Community Service Trust (6). He also has links to Simon Cobbs of Sussex Friends, who is a member of the terrorist organisation, Jewish Defence League (7). David is also an associate of Jewish Chronicle editor, Stephen Pollard, in that they both sit on several Boards and Advisory Panels together (8).

Incidentally, after Jasna recommenced her abuse of me, she was contacted byJosh Jackman to write and article about myself and others for the Jewish Chronicle (9). I understand Josh decided not to go ahead with the article, after I sent him an email advising him of the repercussions if he did so.

These links below, prove that Marko, Jasna, David, and Mark Lewis, attempted at hatchet job in a pathetic smear blog, to defame myself and others:

I think I have more than established here, the connections motive and intentions. If you still doubt me, you must have an acute case of cognitive dissonance.

To paraphrase Aristotle, you have defaulted to the (Zionist) lie, as this is all you know, and when shown the truth, refuse to deviate from the lie you’ve had drilled into you!

What Happens Next:

In conclusion, I would like to remind those who are watching me and seeking to silence and/ or discredit me, it will not work!

To those who support me, solidarity!

Now all matters are in the hands of the police and authorities.

Update:

It seems Marko will not heed my request to cease and desist his abuse and smears of me.

In his own words, he has now said that he is going to go all out to “expose” me, as he put it. I must now take this as a serious threat to defame me, to damage my name, credibility and my work.

As this is clearly targeted abuse by Marko to malign me, I believe that it also constitutes a clear and cut case of harassment with menaces; as such, I must now take further action.

screen-shot-2016-09-18-at-17-06-58

Wrong move, Marko!

Special Note:

I will not be silenced by anyone! Indeed. Your efforts to silence or hurt me, will only make me stronger!

Disclaimer and Notice to Followers and Trolls on Social Media

8 Sep

Twitter Header.png

Facebook:

My FB account is private, which means only those I allow to follow me, can see me and see what I post there.

There is good reason for this; my trollowers and haters, alike, use to like to visit my FB page and download images of my family, friends, and I, then post on social media (sometimes photoshopped with obscenities) to harass me.

Because of the abuse I have received, as a result of my haters and trollowers, the only way you will ever gain access to my FB is if I invite you, or I receive a recommendation to accept you.

This is entirely a precautionary measure to protect my privacy, smears, and my family and friends from abuse.

Twitter:

I have several accounts on twitter; mainly associated with my work, activism, and causes that I support.

I generally tweet about culture, politics, current affairs, and Human Rights. However, I also support several charities, campaigns, and conduct online research, for my work.

I do not generally interact with my followers on twitter, largely because I am fed up with the abuse I often receive, and the dramas, people often try to drag me into.

My purpose on twitter is not to socialise, but to observe, share, research and learn about topics and events in which I am interested.

Other Social Media:

I am not present on any other social media.

Profanity:

I am generally polite, but I speak my mind, and often swear demonstratively, or when someone is abusing, attacking, or trolling me.

I am also prone to swearing at people who post inane, stupid, racist, sexist, homophobic comments.

I make no apologies for this. If you do not like my repost, then do not post anything that falls within the above definitions and/ or do not abuse or try to flame or goad me into a reaction.

Abuse:

I do not abuse, nor do I expect or ask to receive abuse.

If you abuse me, I will request an apology. If you do not apologise, I will block and report you.

Do not abuse me, and not expect it back. It is, afterall, a two way street.

If you abuse, insult, swear at, or curse me, then expect me to retort. Likely, I will block you or call you a cunt.

I do not submit to the view that women are always victims on social media.

If a woman, on social media, messages me or replies to something I have posted, with which she disagrees, with any abuse, profanity, threats, or bile, I will retort.

That is quid pro quo and is the essence of gender equality, in my book.

Women want absolute equality?

I will defend that goal to the max; equality for all is part of my journey.

However, abuse me, regardless of whether you are a woman, and there will be no special favours, except where inequality or misogyny is present or exists.

You should be aware that I have a sharp tongue and a very low tolerance for hatred, being abused or harassed, and intrusions on my family and private life.

I will gladly dish out far worse than I often receive. If that means going out of my way to ruin of you, I am more than happy to execute.

#Protip: Do not dish out that which you are not willing to receive in return.

Racists and Haters:

Any homophobic, racist, or xenophobic types, will be blocked immediately.

And if I do engage, it is usually to highlight their intent, idiocy, racism, misogyny, abuse, or to ridicule.

I do not actively troll or abuse anyone, but I will challenge any of the above for the reasons I have given.

Tagging Me:

This is when you copy me into a post, with someone else, without asking me, or without asking my permission.

Sometimes, this is fine, as it is something in which I may have a personal, academic, or social interest.

Other times, it may be with someone with whom I disagree, have no care for, or whom I consider to be racist, offensive, an abuser, or a troll.

In the event you tag me, and the person is a troll, harasser, abuser, racist, etc. I will ask you to untag me — remove my name from the conversation (twonvo).

If you do not comply, I will normally give you a second or third warning. After that, I will block you.

Please do not tag me to ‘white knight’ or defend you; I will only do so, if I feel concerned.

Offence:

I do not go out of my way to offend, be profane, or be offensive.

If you take offense by something I post, please ask me to clarify my position.

Do not be accusatory, insult, swear at, or abuse me. I will block.

If I make a mistake, I will publicly apologise.

Zionists:

I believe Zionism is racism , but that the Jewish diaspora are deserving of a homeland, just not at the expense and/ or displacement of Palestinians.

I have come to learn that most Zionists are apologists for their hate and the crimes of the Israeli government; including child detentions, murder, ethnic cleansing, apartheid, illegal occupation, inequality and more.

Most Zionists cannot and will not debate, so I block them. Usually, with the hashtags #cuntblock or #ironThumb.

I am open to debate, but only if you (if you fit in this category) are reasonable and open to debate with me.

If you call me an anti-Semite because of my stance on Israel’s illegal settlements, UN violations, interference of national politics etc., you have already lost the argument.

Trolls:

I have no time for. They should be starved of oxygen. I would gladly pay good money to see a few of them hang.

I will immediately block and report them.

Copyright:

Do not use photos of my family or me without my consent; I will report you, as they are my copyright and posting them without my consent is a form of harassment and a violation of my rights on every social media platform, no matter where in the world.

Data Protection and Copyright:

Any images of my family or me are 100% my copyright.

You post them on social media; especially to harass me, I will report you.

Post my email, home fone, address, same response applies.

Harassment:

If you repeatedly abuse, breach my privacy, copyright, or smear me, without provocation or justification, I will report you to the police and social media.

I am known to issue criminal and civil proceedings against those who do.

DMs:

These are direct private messages; they are confidential.

Unless I give my consent for you to share, disclose, or otherwise use something I have shared with you by direct or private message, it is private.

Sharing it, is a breach of my trust and privacy, and will be acted upon.

Replies:

I receive lots of messages.

I am not able to respond to all messages, so do not take offense.

I do my utmost to respond to all messages that people send to me.

Retweets and Favourites:

These are not endorsements of what you have posted.

If I RT or Fav you, it merely means I am interested in what you have posted.

Deletions, Corrections, Omissions, and Apologies:

If I tweet or post something incorrect, by all means, ask me to correct, furnish, or delete.

However, I am not obliged to do so, unless it is factually incorrect, a distortion of truth, slander, or libel.

Please provide any supporting evidence to enable me to consider a correction.

If I am wrong, I will delete and offer my apologies.

If you are merely butthurt, then jog on and cry me a river. Equally, you could go fill out this form waiting for me to give a fuck: http://bit.ly/1GWV4k2

Failing which, sue me!

Zionist Lobby Uses #UK LGBT ‘Pink News’ to Skew Iran Deal

2 Sep

Originally Publish on News786, 2015

In a comment piece entitled ‘Why LGBT people should oppose the Iran nuclear deal’, Berlin-based Journalist, Bejamin Weinthal, was given a platform by the Editors of British-based, online news site, Pink News, to write an op-ed on the Iran Deal, about the country’s ill-treatment of the LGBT community, which it published in its Current Affairs section on the 08 August 2015. In addition to telling us that the deal is bad for LGBT people in Iran, Weinthal also wrote that the deal was [would also be] bad for the global LGBT community.

In his piece, Weinthal fails to offer a single reason, source, explanation, or evidence to confirm, substantiate or support his claim that the deal is bad for LGBT community in Iran or even globally. His only hint at a reason, was in reference to a remark he made on ‘the abolition of Iran’s death penalty for gays and lesbians, with the nuclear accord.’ However dreadful and abhorrent Iran’s Human Rights record and ill-treatment of its own people is, abolition of the death penalty was not part of the Vienna Accord, nor on the table for any part of the discussions.

What was on the table, and at the core of discussions, was non-proliferation and Iran’s acceptance of limits on its nuclear programme, in exchange for the lifting of sanctions. There is not a single mention, or reference, in the 159-page Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action report to either the death penalty, or LGBT Rights. The only reference to Human Rights is the US-imposed ‘Iran Threat Reduction and Syria Human Right Act 2012’, which was enacted primarily to impose sanctions based on Iran’s energy and financial sectors; proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, and support for terrorism.

Weinthal quotes figures from WikiLeaks and Amnesty International on the estimated number of executions, since the founding of the republic in 1979. He also added, ‘Executions have increased since Iran’s allegedly moderate president Hassan Rouhani’.

Indeed, in 2014, UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon said: “He (Rouhani) has not made any significant improvement in ending human rights abuses since taking office.” But again, although this is without question, a deplorable state of affairs, what does this have to do with the deal and the discussions that took place in Vienna?

Weinthal goes on to criticize the reciprocal economic benefits of the deal for international business and governments, in stating, ‘European companies are flocking to Iran to sell “dual-use” equipment that can be used for military or civilian purposes’, which is clearly a misleading claim, as most countries have stated, publicly, that they will not permit this, including Britain, France, and Germany.

Rather desperately, Weinthal attempts to implore our (yes, I am Ghey) sympathies by stating, ‘some prominent gays have profoundly misjudged the terror of Iran’s regime.’ In response to which, I would ask Weinthal how my fellow members of the international LGBT community have done so? After-all, we didn’t take part in the discussions or strike the deal, did we?

So why is Pink News giving him column inches, and why is Weinthal seeking to persuade LGBT-ers to speak out against the Iran deal? As it turns out, the whole piece was a complete plant, instigated by Israel’s propaganda machine and the Zionist lobby agenda. What proof do I offer, you may ask? Well, first, the Chief Executive of Pink News, is Benjamin Cohen, who is Jewish and well acquainted with Weinthal since as early as 2012. Weinthal is also Jewish and a known Zionist. Both Cohen and Weinthal believe passionately in Israel’s right to exist and have posted on social media and written so. It is perfectly clear, having conducted various online searches, that neither Cohen nor Weinthal are fans of the Iranian regime; especially, as Weinthal is so vehemently outspoken and critical of Iran.

Oh, did I mention that it was Cohen, who gave Weinthal the idea to include the persecuted Iranian poet, Payam Feili in his op-ed? Weinthal is also a fellow of the Right-wing think tank, Foundation for Defense of Democracies, which is largely funded by pro-Israeli, Republican and international Jewish donors, and which is focused on national security and foreign policy issues.

Of course we should condemn and challenge Iran’s Human Rights record, and we have and will continue to do so. For his own campaigning efforts to highlight abuses, the prominent British LGBT Activist, Peter Tatchell, has been labelled by Iranian authorities, as a spy.

However, I am in full agreement with Weinthal, when he suggests that the deal should be renegotiated to include addressing Iran’s Human Rights record. That said, this should have been on the table from the start of discussions. It is therefore too late in the day to even consider this option. Now we have the deal, and once political ties have improved and stabilized, only we can begin the dialogue about other important issues, like pushing for Human Rights.

As readers were quick to realize; Weinthal’s op-ed article, was clearly a propaganda piece to support, and promote, Israeli identity politics and nation-building. As one reader noted:

“Daniel • 3 days ago

Benjamin Weinthal’s latest article for the Jerusalem post: “

Analysis: Is Germany’s pro-Iran deal diplomatic offensive a threat to Israel’s security?”

For some reason I doubt his position has anything to do with LGBT rights.”

Another said:

“Daniel M Y • 3 days ago

But that has absolutely NOTHING to do with their nuclear program, so why don’t you ‘keep to the point’? This author’s beef is with the threat a nuclear Iran could pose to Israel, but instead of coming out and saying it he’s implying that all he cares about is LGBT rights. The fact that he doesn’t mention Israel even once in this article shows how disingenuous he is.”

Out of 100 comments on Weinthal’s piece; all suggested that it was Israeli propaganda, with no interest or genuine concern for LGBT Rights.

One last thing, readers: if we are to question Iran’s Human Rights record, should we not also question the United States, Russia, and China’s? All three countries have the death penalty, and woeful Human Rights records, in regard to LGBT rights. Israel’s Human Rights record also warrants as much questioning; particularly, in light of its treatment of African Jews and Palestinians.

White Privilege: When is a Terrorist Not a Terrorist?

1 Sep

Zack Davies.png

Photo: Zack Davies, Facebook Page

Original Article Published on News7826, 2015

Zack Davies (pictured above) took a machete to Dr Bhambra’s head, a Sikh man, in a UK supermarket, because he had brown skin. Davies wanted to wreak revenge for the death of Lee Rigby, who was publicly murdered in the streets of Woolwich by Michael Adebolajo and Michael Adebowale, in 2013.

Also in the UK, a few weeks ago (May, 2015), two 15-year-old teen boys were given a 12-month custody order by UK courts for purchasing explosive chemicals and other related materials, in a plot to blow up parliament and commit public acts or murder, including beheadings.

Similarly, in June 2015, Dylann Roof, massacred nine lives at the Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church in downtown Charleston, South Carolina, United States, because he felt Blacks were taking over and he wanted to start a race war.

In contrast, just last week (July/ August 2015), there were confirmed reports of a deliberate explosion at a gas works in St Quentin-Fallavier, France, followed by the discovery of a decapitated body. The perpetrators’ name is one Yassin Salhi. The body was that of Salhi’s boss, Herve Cornora.

What’s the difference between these events, we might ask? The difference, is that only in the case of Salhi, were officials, governments, and the media, quick to condemn his actions as an act of terrorism. Salhi has since said his actions were related to family and work troubles, though evidence also clearly disputes this.

In all the other three cases (Davies, the Two Teen Boys, and Roof), members of Far Right, the media, politicians, and the judiciary, have been quick to label these extremists as ‘lone-wolves’ and ‘troubled’, despite clear evidence to the contrary. Davies and Roof both had known links Far Right extremist organisations. Extremist paraphernalia being found in each of their homes and in their possession, including the teen boys. It was the same with Anders Breivik.

When news of Zack Davies first came to light, the likes of Far Right extremists such as Robert Spencer (Jihad Watch); Tommy Robinson (Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, founder of the English Defence League); and professional Islamophobe, Tarek Fatah (Columnist for Toronto Sun), were all quick to explain away his [Davies’] actions, as a Muslim plot to ‘Islamificate’ the West, with ‘Moozlamic rayguns’ and ‘Shakira Law.’

Taz.png

Robert Doggart, a 63-year-old Tennessee resident, is an ordained Christian minister in the Christian National Church, who plotted a violent attack against a Muslim-American community in New York state, was released without charge. The Daily Beast labelled him as a ‘lethal threat.’ Doggart only faces a fine (yes, a fine) for his actions.

doggart.png

As Charles Kurzman, and Dan Schanzer have noted, the real terrorist threat, ‘is not from violent Muslim extremists, but from right-wing extremists’ (NY Times, June 2015). The question is, when will the world wake up, and stop victim blaming Muslims, and Black people, for all that is wrong in this world? Kurzman and Schanzer’s own research found that only 3 percent of anti-government extremism recorded, was severe by law enforcement agencies came from Muslim extremists.

I restate the question: when will politicians, the media, and law enforcement stop scapegoating Muslims and members of the Black community as extremists and thugs? When will they start treating their ‘own’ as an equal threat to the function of mainstream society and the cause of its systemic problems? When will Western governments, and societies, learn, and accept, that they are as much responsible for radicalised, home-grown terrorism, and the rise of Daesh, Al Qaeda, and Boko Haram, in the Middle East, and Africa? Especially, as Western governments have created and proactively fund and support terrorism.

Reply to Matthew Strebe on Hoppe and Immigration — Notes On Liberty

1 Sep

In response to my recent post on immigration, fellow note-writer Mattew Strebe asserts two main objections to my defense of open borders: freedom of movement is not a right in the first place so immigration restrictions are not violating anyone’s rights, and that citizenship is relevant to the debate over the impact of policies.
